these are backgrounds I made for my concept class. I tried to tie this assignment in with the comic I was doing at the time, which took place in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The main character (who is in the foreground of the bottom image) was a spiritual conduit named Memphis, who I featured in the short I made for my last semester at school.
