design process for Prilliad’s companions Blythazaar (the pointy one) and Xyxyx (the emo one).

my design process for Blythazaar was a sexy himbo. the real breakthrough moment with their design was the corset. when i added a corset i understood their character more. like naruto if he fully embraced his himbo energy and was also hyperviolent.

xyxyx design had me stumped for awhile. I watched arca’s live preformance at Sonar+D 2020 and was really inspired by her hair. also heavily inspired by ecco2k (specifically the peroxide video) and y2k rave culture.
